Terroir & Us Tours

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmed once full payment (or a deposit, if applicable) is received.
Prices are listed in New Zealand dollars and include GST unless otherwise stated.
Payments can be made online or by invoice, and must be cleared before the tour date.

Cancellations made 7 or more days before the booked tour will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made 3–6 days prior will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the tour or “no-shows” are non-refundable.
If weather conditions affect the day, the tour will still go ahead as planned. In these situations, guests will receive a 50% refund, recognising that many arrangements, such as lunch and winery bookings, are made in advance.
If a tour has only one seat booked, we’ll be in touch at least 24 hours prior to confirm whether the tour will operate. Solo guests can select a full refund or reschedule to another suitable date.

Tours operate in most weather conditions, but safety comes first. The team may adjust routes, start times, or activities in response to weather or terrain.
Please follow the guide’s instructions at all times, especially around horses and in vineyard environments.

Minimum age for tours is 12 years, unless otherwise approved in advance.
Moderate fitness is required — participants should be comfortable being outdoors and around animals.
The maximum weight per guest is 110kg (242lb), which includes any luggage. This is enforced for the safety of our horse. Drinking water will be provided on the tour.
The guide reserves the right to decline participation if a guest’s health or behaviour poses a safety risk.

Terroir & Us Tours takes all reasonable care to provide a safe and enjoyable experience, but accepts no responsibility for injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the tour.
Guests acknowledge that participation involves inherent risks with animals and the general outdoors.
By joining the tour, guests agree to release Terroir & Us Tours, its owners, and staff from any claims arising from participation, except where caused by proven negligence.

Wine tastings are strictly for guests aged 18 and over.
We encourage responsible enjoyment. The guide reserves the right to refuse alcohol service or participation if a guest is intoxicated or behaving inappropriately.

Terroir & Us Tours may take photographs or video during tours for promotional use. If you prefer not to be included, please advise your guide at the start of the tour.

Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified.
Vouchers are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person.

Any personal information collected will be used solely for booking and communication purposes and will not be shared with third parties, except where required by law.
