Terroir & Us Half-day Tour

A little time, beautifully spent.

Our half-day journey lets you slip into Marlborough’s rhythm without committing to a full day — a gentle saunter between two soulful winery stops, carried by the steady stride of Duchess, our calm and kind Clydesdale.

With only four guests aboard, the carriage keeps everything unhurried and personal. You’ll enjoy generous guided tastings at each winery, with enough time to savour the stories behind the glass rather than rush through them.

It’s a short escape, but wonderfully restorative — open air, easy conversation, and the feeling that slowing down, even for a few hours, can reset your whole day.

Our journey will begin with a ride to Framingham for our first tastings

Then

For lunch, we’ll linger at Forrest for a tasting and an elaborate antipasti platter made with local products before we head home.

Half-day tour includes:

  • Transfers from Blenheim to the start point and return

  • Carriage ride between boutique, family-owned wineries

  • Guided tastings at each winery

  • Antipasti platter with matching wines for lunch

  • Insightful commentary on Marlborough’s creative, experimental viticulture

  • Cold, bottled water—sparkling and flat

Tour timings:

The half-day tours operate on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Pick up is approximately 09:30 from Blenheim and 14:00 return. Exact timings will be confirmed prior to your tour.

Tour pricing:
$250+gst NZD per person.

Note: With four seats on the carriage, you’ll likely be sharing the ride with other guests. Maximum weight per guest is 110kg (242lb). This includes luggage to ensure the safety of Duchess. If you’re booked as a solo traveller, we’ll confirm 24h in advance whether the tour will run as we require a minimum of two guests to proceed.
